Urban Soundscapes is a web application of the project ECHO that celebrates the sounds of the city, allowing users to record, share & explore geotagged urban sounds. The Conceptualising and design are developed from scratch using Libraries & Plug-ins: Mapbox, p5.js, Bootstrap, Firebase, HTML, CSS, and three.js. Through this project, we hope to shift perspectives, encouraging users to view sound as more than background noise– rather, a composition of intertwining relationships. Making a user-centric website that offers an interactive experience through sound, allowing users to better understand and contribute to our project.
